Oscar Red Carpet 2015

There were a ton of great looks on the 2015 Oscar red carpet. Anna Kendrick looked beautiful in Thakoon…

I loved Zoe Saldana’s perfectly fit Atelier Versace…

And Anna Faris looked lovely and effortless in this strapless Zuhair Murad…

But my two favorites of the night were Lupita Nyong’o, and the queen of red carpet herself, Jennifer Lopez!

Lupita’s custom-made Calvin Klein dress is covered in over 6000 pearls. It’s innovative, elegant and looks gorgeous with her skin. Once again, Lupita slays!

My other absolute favorite was queen JLo. She’s been a showstopper on the red carpet for so many years now it must be old news to her, but for us it’s always amazing! Plus, is she aging backwards?! That skin is flawless, hunty!

Jlo Elie Saab

In addition to her gorgeous Elie Saab dress, I loved JLo’s hair. You don’t often think of a ponytail as a fancy, red carpet hairstyle, but she did it so beautifully. It’s fresh and fabulous!

There really were a lot of great looks on the carpet so I want to briefly do honorable mentions! Cate Blanchett was the queen of the statement accessory in Maison Margiela Couture by John Galliano, while Laura Dern was statuesque in a metallic Alberta Ferretti. Margot Robbie was giving me Old Hollywood glamour in Saint Laurent, while Meryl Streep was elegant in Lanvin.

Finally, I want to say something about Zendaya since her hair caused such a controversy…

Those dreads were awesome! (And to answer your question, no, I didn’t do her hair Oscar night lol, but I loved it!). Unexpected,  fashion-forward, and trend-setting. And her response to the controversy was perfect. I always look forward to working with her because she’s just as lovely, thoughtful, and kind in person as she seems on her twitter 😀

xoxo, Kim
